  We have eaten some wonderful lunches here over the past seven years. Every day there are two set menu meal choices one at around the 10 euro mark and the other a couple of euros dearer. Both include several choices in each of three courses with house wine and water or casera included as well as coffee afterwards. The food is served by charming staff and produced by the family whose establishment it is. Most of the vegetables are grown by the grandfather who also helps in the kitchen on occasion. Robbie chose to celebrate his 70th birthday there which should give you some idea of how much we like it! The decor is Spanish country style with heavy wooden chandeliers and the walls hung about with oil paintings of countryside views from elsewhere on the island and the mounted heads of various unfortunate creatures once hunted to provide meat for the pot but even so the ambience is delightful. Truckers eat there regularly as do smartly-dressed white-collar workers and shop assistants, young and old all creating an atmosphere of semi-rural familiarity. Some of the staff speak English well enough to make this a pleasurable eatery even for those with little or no command of Spanish. If you are a fan of paella you will want to visit on a Wednesday...
